We were approached to assist with a summer house in Ostnäs on Northern Swedens coastline design by Varg Arkitekter. With sustainable materials and a low impact on the surroudings natural enviorment at the centre of its design ethos.

Externally the lighting proposal focussed on an intuitive wayfinding and arrival experience. Luminaires with zero upward light spill were proposed and marine grade fixtures with replaceable modular components were specified for longevity of the scheme.

The natural materials and highly considered use of interior spaces inherently guided us to propose a paired back lighting scheme. Coordination was key here to ensure that fixtures respected the architecture and every light fixture served a purpose to create a layered personalised lighting scheme.
